# יד2 vs TERMINAL X

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TERMINAL X at 100% against יד2's 11%. TERMINAL X also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). יד2's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TERMINAL X holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: יד2 has 707 ratings behind it against 126, so its average is the more settled of the two.
