# Last Fish vs Abzorb

The clearest difference is monetization model: Abzorb at free against Last Fish's paid. Abzorb also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). Last Fish's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 45%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Abzorb holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Last Fish's written reviews are positive against 45% of Abzorb's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Last Fish ships an update every 4 months, Abzorb every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
