# Interval Timer vs Forge

The clearest difference is rating: Forge at 5.0 against Interval Timer's 4.5. Forge also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 73%). Interval Timer's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval Timer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Forge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Interval Timer has 19K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Interval Timer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Forge's.
