# Edmonton Journal vs AgCanada

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AgCanada at 100% against Edmonton Journal's 7%. AgCanada also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Edmonton Journal's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Edmonton Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. AgCanada asks for nothing beyond the download.

Edmonton Journal holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edmonton Journal has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Edmonton Journal's written reviews are positive against 100% of AgCanada's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Edmonton Journal ships an update monthly, AgCanada every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
