# Sydsvenskan E vs eYA

The clearest difference is monetization model: eYA at free against Sydsvenskan E's free with in-app purchases. eYA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Sydsvenskan E's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sydsvenskan E sells 20 one-off in-app purchases and eYA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eYA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sydsvenskan E has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sydsvenskan E ships an update every 3 weeks, eYA every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
