# Algebra vs Thestarstudy

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Algebra at 13.0 against Thestarstudy's 15.5. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Algebra sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Thestarstudy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
