# Priority Pass™ vs eSIM + Travel Data

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Priority Pass™ at 501K against eSIM + Travel Data's 6K. Priority Pass™ also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and chart position (#137 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Priority Pass™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Priority Pass™ has 501K ratings behind it against 6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Priority Pass™'s written reviews are positive against 33% of eSIM + Travel Data's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Priority Pass™ ships an update fortnightly, eSIM + Travel Data every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
