# Open FM vs Antyradio

The clearest difference is rating: Open FM at 4.8 against Antyradio's 2.7. Open FM also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 6). Antyradio's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 36%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Open FM holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Open FM has 1.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Open FM's written reviews are positive against 54% of Antyradio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Open FM ships an update every 2 months, Antyradio every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
