# Barnyard Blaster Lite vs Impossible Pixel

The clearest difference is rating: Barnyard Blaster Lite at 4.8 against Impossible Pixel's 4.3. Impossible Pixel's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 7 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barnyard Blaster Lite sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Impossible Pixel asks for nothing beyond the download.

Barnyard Blaster Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Impossible Pixel has 290 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Barnyard Blaster Lite's written reviews are positive against 66% of Impossible Pixel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Barnyard Blaster Lite ships an update every 7 months, Impossible Pixel every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
