# Lubricants vs Secure Applicant

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Secure Applicant at 100% against Lubricants's 33%. Lubricants's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lubricants holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Lubricants's written reviews are positive against 100% of Secure Applicant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lubricants ships an update every 3 months, Secure Applicant every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
