# 腾讯视频HD vs 猫眼

The clearest difference is rating: 猫眼 at 4.7 against 腾讯视频HD's 3.5. 猫眼 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 15) and ads (none vs shown). 腾讯视频HD's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (62% vs 49%). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 腾讯视频HD sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. 猫眼 asks for nothing beyond the download.

猫眼 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 猫眼 has 1.5K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of 腾讯视频HD's written reviews are positive against 49% of 猫眼's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

腾讯视频HD ships an update every 4 days, 猫眼 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
