# Halcyon Calc Lite vs my41CX

The clearest difference is ads: my41CX at none against Halcyon Calc Lite's shown. my41CX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Halcyon Calc Lite's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 43%) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Halcyon Calc Lite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and my41CX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

my41CX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Halcyon Calc Lite has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Halcyon Calc Lite's written reviews are positive against 43% of my41CX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
