# Crystal Synth XT vs Drum Machine

The clearest difference is rating: Crystal Synth XT at 4.9 against Drum Machine's 4.0. Crystal Synth XT also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 1). Drum Machine's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and price ($0.99 vs $4.99). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Crystal Synth XT costs $4.99 and Drum Machine $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Crystal Synth XT holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crystal Synth XT has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Crystal Synth XT's written reviews are positive against 100% of Drum Machine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
