# The Standard vs 信報 Mobile for Tablet

The clearest difference is rating: 信報 Mobile for Tablet at 3.7 against The Standard's 3.0. 信報 Mobile for Tablet also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). The Standard's advantage is review sentiment (28% vs 11%) and device support. On price, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

信報 Mobile for Tablet holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of The Standard's written reviews are positive against 11% of 信報 Mobile for Tablet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
