# MyUTA vs Echo360

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MyUTA at 65% against Echo360's 15%. MyUTA also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 2). Echo360's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 2.4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Echo360 holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyUTA has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of MyUTA's written reviews are positive against 15% of Echo360's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyUTA ships an update every 5 months, Echo360 monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
