# SyncSpace vs AxNote

The clearest difference is rating: AxNote at 4.3 against SyncSpace's 3.6. AxNote also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). SyncSpace's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SyncSpace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AxNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AxNote holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of SyncSpace's written reviews are positive against 50% of AxNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SyncSpace ships an update monthly, AxNote every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
