# SyncSpace vs BigPaper

The clearest difference is monetization model: BigPaper at free with in-app purchases against SyncSpace's subscription. BigPaper also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). SyncSpace's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 27%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SyncSpace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BigPaper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BigPaper holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 17 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of SyncSpace's written reviews are positive against 27% of BigPaper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SyncSpace ships an update monthly, BigPaper every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
