# Arabic Dictionary vs تراث

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: تراث at none against Arabic Dictionary's 7. تراث also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Arabic Dictionary's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 76%) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 243). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arabic Dictionary sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. تراث asks for nothing beyond the download.

تراث holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arabic Dictionary has 1.9K ratings behind it against 243, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Arabic Dictionary's written reviews are positive against 76% of تراث's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Arabic Dictionary ships an update every 2 months, تراث every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
