# My Oceanside vs AIA Events

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Oceanside at 54% against AIA Events's 8%. My Oceanside also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.4). AIA Events's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 2.8) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AIA Events holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AIA Events has 243 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of My Oceanside's written reviews are positive against 8% of AIA Events's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Oceanside ships an update every 3 months, AIA Events every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
