# Weatherzone vs PredictRain

The clearest difference is ads: PredictRain at none against Weatherzone's shown. PredictRain also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 56%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Weatherzone's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 67) and chart position (#141 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weatherzone sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year and PredictRain sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PredictRain holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weatherzone has 1.8K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two.
