# Weatherzone vs RainLog V2

The clearest difference is ads: RainLog V2 at none against Weatherzone's shown. RainLog V2 also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 56%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Weatherzone's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 32) and chart position (#109 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weatherzone sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year and RainLog V2 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Weatherzone against 4.6 for RainLog V2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weatherzone has 1.9K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two.
