# SME.sk vs TV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SME.sk at 65% against TV's 11%. SME.sk also leads on rating (4.8 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 11 months). TV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SME.sk sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

SME.sk holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SME.sk has 77 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of SME.sk's written reviews are positive against 11% of TV's.

SME.sk ships an update every 4 weeks, TV every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
