# Elementi vs Elements Academy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Elementi at every 6 weeks against Elements Academy's every 27 months. Elementi also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Elements Academy's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (79 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elementi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Elements Academy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elementi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elements Academy has 79 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Elementi's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elements Academy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Elementi ships an update every 6 weeks, Elements Academy every 27 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
