# Tanger vs KWI Experience

The clearest difference is ads: KWI Experience at none against Tanger's shown. KWI Experience also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Tanger's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KWI Experience holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tanger has 10K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tanger ships an update every 5 weeks, KWI Experience every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
