# Real Piano™ Classic vs YouCompose

The clearest difference is price: Real Piano™ Classic at $0.99 against YouCompose's $12.99. Real Piano™ Classic also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). YouCompose's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (35 vs 4). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Real Piano™ Classic costs $0.99 and YouCompose $12.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YouCompose holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouCompose has 35 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Real Piano™ Classic's written reviews are positive against 70% of YouCompose's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Real Piano™ Classic ships an update every 7 months, YouCompose every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
