# Microsoft OneNote vs LEDWallCalc

The clearest difference is price: Microsoft OneNote at Free against LEDWallCalc's $2.99. Microsoft OneNote also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). LEDWallCalc's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (65% vs 44%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Microsoft OneNote is free to download; LEDWallCalc costs $2.99 up front. Microsoft OneNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. LEDWallCalc asks for nothing beyond the download.

Microsoft OneNote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft OneNote has 1.1M ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Microsoft OneNote's written reviews are positive against 65% of LEDWallCalc's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Microsoft OneNote ships an update weekly, LEDWallCalc every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
