# Washington Commanders vs Army

Washington Commanders and Army both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 56% of Washington Commanders's written reviews are positive against 13% of Army's. Washington Commanders also leads on ratings volume (6K vs 1). Army's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Army holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Washington Commanders has 6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Washington Commanders's written reviews are positive against 13% of Army's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Washington Commanders ships an update every 3 months, Army every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
