# Logbook Pro Flight Logbook vs FlightGauge

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FlightGauge at 80% against Logbook Pro Flight Logbook's 55%. FlightGauge also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Logbook Pro Flight Logbook's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 10) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Logbook Pro Flight Logbook sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and FlightGauge sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Logbook Pro Flight Logbook holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Logbook Pro Flight Logbook has 1.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Logbook Pro Flight Logbook's written reviews are positive against 80% of FlightGauge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Logbook Pro Flight Logbook ships an update monthly, FlightGauge every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
