# Logbook Pro Flight Logbook vs RLM

The clearest difference is rating: RLM at 5.0 against Logbook Pro Flight Logbook's 4.6. RLM also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Logbook Pro Flight Logbook's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Logbook Pro Flight Logbook sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and RLM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RLM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Logbook Pro Flight Logbook has 1.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Logbook Pro Flight Logbook ships an update monthly, RLM every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
