# Magic Work Cycle vs Proactor

The clearest difference is rating: Proactor at 4.5 against Magic Work Cycle's 3.9. Proactor also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 92 months) and ratings volume (189 vs 7). Magic Work Cycle's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (71% vs 40%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Work Cycle sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Proactor sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proactor holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proactor has 189 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Magic Work Cycle's written reviews are positive against 40% of Proactor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Work Cycle ships an update every 92 months, Proactor every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
