# Mapy.com vs Tripinfy

Mapy.com and Tripinfy both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Mapy.com's written reviews are positive against 47% of Tripinfy's. Mapy.com also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 12) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Tripinfy's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mapy.com sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $18.99 per year and Tripinfy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tripinfy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mapy.com has 1.4K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Mapy.com's written reviews are positive against 47% of Tripinfy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mapy.com ships an update weekly, Tripinfy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
