# Postimees vs Õhtuleht

The clearest difference is monetization model: Õhtuleht at free against Postimees's ad-supported. Õhtuleht also leads on review sentiment (33% vs 24%). Postimees's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Postimees ships an update every 2 months, Õhtuleht every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
