# Orion Mobile vs MyRepChat

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyRepChat at every 3 weeks against Orion Mobile's every 7 months. MyRepChat also leads on rating (2.6 vs 2.4). Orion Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyRepChat holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 53 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Orion Mobile's written reviews are positive against 13% of MyRepChat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Orion Mobile ships an update every 7 months, MyRepChat every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
