# Accordance Bible Software vs Launch Box

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Launch Box at none against Accordance Bible Software's 16. Launch Box also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). Accordance Bible Software's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 8) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Accordance Bible Software sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Launch Box asks for nothing beyond the download.

Accordance Bible Software holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Accordance Bible Software has 13K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Accordance Bible Software's written reviews are positive against 100% of Launch Box's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Accordance Bible Software ships an update every 2 months, Launch Box every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
