# Prier vs Handicap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Handicap at none against Prier's 10. Handicap also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Prier's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prier sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Handicap asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Prier against 5.0 for Handicap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prier has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Prier ships an update every 8 months, Handicap every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
