# Bubble Shooter vs Bubble Trouble Classic

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bubble Shooter at 10K against Bubble Trouble Classic's 32. Bubble Shooter also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubble Shooter sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Bubble Trouble Classic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Bubble Shooter against 4.5 for Bubble Trouble Classic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Shooter has 10K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Bubble Shooter's written reviews are positive against 60% of Bubble Trouble Classic's.

Bubble Shooter ships an update every 3 weeks, Bubble Trouble Classic every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
