# Bubble Shooter vs Bubbles iQ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bubble Shooter at 65% against Bubbles iQ's 19%. Bubble Shooter also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 104) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Bubbles iQ's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubble Shooter sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Bubbles iQ sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bubbles iQ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Shooter has 10K ratings behind it against 104, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Bubble Shooter's written reviews are positive against 19% of Bubbles iQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bubble Shooter ships an update every 3 weeks, Bubbles iQ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
