# EverClipper vs Widget

The clearest difference is rating: EverClipper at 5.0 against Widget's 4.6. Widget's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 50%) and ratings volume (58 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EverClipper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EverClipper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widget has 58 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of EverClipper's written reviews are positive against 72% of Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EverClipper ships an update every 2 months, Widget every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
