# IAFF Foundation Pro vs FireRoster

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IAFF Foundation Pro at 46% against FireRoster's 0%. IAFF Foundation Pro also leads on ratings volume (5.9K vs 1). FireRoster's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 5 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IAFF Foundation Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. FireRoster asks for nothing beyond the download.

FireRoster holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IAFF Foundation Pro has 5.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of IAFF Foundation Pro's written reviews are positive against 0% of FireRoster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IAFF Foundation Pro ships an update every 5 months, FireRoster every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
