# IAFF Foundation Pro vs NowForce

The clearest difference is rating: IAFF Foundation Pro at 4.7 against NowForce's 4.2. IAFF Foundation Pro also leads on ratings volume (5.9K vs 5). NowForce's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IAFF Foundation Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. NowForce asks for nothing beyond the download.

IAFF Foundation Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IAFF Foundation Pro has 5.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of IAFF Foundation Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of NowForce's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IAFF Foundation Pro ships an update every 5 months, NowForce every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
