# TuioPad vs Calligraphy Master

The clearest difference is rating: Calligraphy Master at 4.3 against TuioPad's 3.0. Calligraphy Master also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 75 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 10). TuioPad's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 34%) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calligraphy Master sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. TuioPad asks for nothing beyond the download.

Calligraphy Master holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calligraphy Master has 2.5K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of TuioPad's written reviews are positive against 34% of Calligraphy Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TuioPad ships an update every 75 months, Calligraphy Master every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
