# TuioPad vs PC Remote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TuioPad at 75% against PC Remote's 33%. TuioPad also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). PC Remote's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 75 months) and ratings volume (301 vs 10). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PC Remote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. TuioPad asks for nothing beyond the download.

PC Remote holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PC Remote has 301 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of TuioPad's written reviews are positive against 33% of PC Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TuioPad ships an update every 75 months, PC Remote monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
