# The Fortress vs Blanked

The clearest difference is ads: The Fortress at none against Blanked's shown. Blanked's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Fortress sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Blanked sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Fortress ships an update every 3 weeks, Blanked every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
