# RPG vs Goal Loop

The clearest difference is rating: Goal Loop at 5.0 against RPG's 4.5. Goal Loop also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). RPG's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RPG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Goal Loop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Goal Loop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RPG has 30 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RPG ships an update every 5 months, Goal Loop every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
