# RPG vs Password Manager

The clearest difference is update cadence: Password Manager at every 2 weeks against RPG's every 5 months. Password Manager also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 30) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RPG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Password Manager sells 30 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Password Manager has 2.6K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of RPG's written reviews are positive against 89% of Password Manager's.

RPG ships an update every 5 months, Password Manager every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
