# Device Magic vs Amplus Forms

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Device Magic at 45% against Amplus Forms's 0%. Device Magic also leads on ratings volume (3.7K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Amplus Forms's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Device Magic sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month. Amplus Forms asks for nothing beyond the download.

Amplus Forms holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Magic has 3.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Device Magic's written reviews are positive against 0% of Amplus Forms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Device Magic ships an update every 3 weeks, Amplus Forms every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
