# Device Magic vs FleetWatcher Driver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FleetWatcher Driver at 100% against Device Magic's 45%. FleetWatcher Driver also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Device Magic's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (3.7K vs 26). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Device Magic sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month. FleetWatcher Driver asks for nothing beyond the download.

Device Magic holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Magic has 3.7K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Device Magic's written reviews are positive against 100% of FleetWatcher Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Device Magic ships an update every 3 weeks, FleetWatcher Driver monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
