# Password Manager iPassSafe vs PDF Cabinet

The clearest difference is rating: Password Manager iPassSafe at 4.3 against PDF Cabinet's 3.8. Password Manager iPassSafe also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (806 vs 57). PDF Cabinet's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password Manager iPassSafe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year. PDF Cabinet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Password Manager iPassSafe holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Password Manager iPassSafe has 806 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Password Manager iPassSafe's written reviews are positive against 66% of PDF Cabinet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Password Manager iPassSafe ships an update fortnightly, PDF Cabinet every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
