# AutoArp vs Synth Pro

The clearest difference is ads: AutoArp at none against Synth Pro's shown. AutoArp also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). Synth Pro's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AutoArp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Synth Pro sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Synth Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Synth Pro has 554 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of AutoArp's written reviews are positive against 71% of Synth Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AutoArp ships an update every 4 months, Synth Pro every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
