# GNC LiveWell vs MaxPureCases

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MaxPureCases at 50% against GNC LiveWell's 10%. MaxPureCases also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). GNC LiveWell's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (10K vs 5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GNC LiveWell holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GNC LiveWell has 10K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of GNC LiveWell's written reviews are positive against 50% of MaxPureCases's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GNC LiveWell ships an update every 3 weeks, MaxPureCases daily. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
